Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes has more than 25 years of experience representing businesses, government jurisdictions, grassroots efforts and nonprofit organizations at the state, county, city and federal levels. He is currently concentrating on representing clients to elected officials and staff in local government. He has extensive knowledge of the public policy environment and has worked on a variety of issues including education, environment, land use, arts, health care, budget and tax policy. Kevin Hughes’ clients have included Pacific Science Center, Seattle Aquarium Society, Renewable Northwest Project, Snohomish County, Labor Ready, Rabanco, Northwest Harvest, Museum of History and Industry, the Prosperity Partnership’s Cultural Taskforce, Seattle Center Foundation, Seattle Chinese Garden Society, and Planet CPR. He has experience working on a bipartisan basis with elected officials, government staff, business people, and community members. His experience includes organizing coalitions and grassroots networks, and developing media and community support. He worked to secure the endorsements of elected officials for the statewide Clean and Renewable Energy Initiative; the initiative was approved by the voters in 2007. Kevin Hughes has a network of contacts with community groups throughout Washington state. He is also currently an adjunct professor teaching Advocacy and Public Policy at Seattle University.
